Gentoo-Based Sabayon Linux Is Still Alive, New Release Adds Full Disk Encryption

Backed by a brand-new build infrastructure and powered by Linux kernel 4.20, Sabayon Linux 19.03 release is here with full disk encryption support via the Calamares graphical installer, which replaces Anaconda as default installer, support for 32-bit UEFI systems, Dracut as a replacement for genkernel-nex as initramfs generation utility, and Python 3 by default. It also features enhancements to the AMDGPU graphics driver for extended AMD Radeon Vega support including AMD Radeon VII, along with initial AMD FreeSync support, which will be enabled when the Linux 5.0 kernel hits the software repositories, through the Mesa 19.0.x graaphics stack and xf86-video-amdgpu 19.0.x graphics driver.
