Globe & Mail: Red Hat prepares to lift lid on Linux

“In what must be a salesman’s worst nightmare, Robert Young
is unable to talk much about his company, Red Hat Software
Inc.”

“That’s because Red Hat, the largest seller of the Linux
operating system software, plans a $96.6-million (U.S.) initial
public offering next month and Mr. Young is concerned about getting
on the bad side of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission by
promoting his company.

“Still, it’s not difficult to see that the Hamilton native is
keen to start telling the Red Hat story again after the IPO is
completed.”
