Open Source Contribution Standard

“Well why not? I was thinking about the Contribution Pack and it
got me thinking further, would there be any benefit to having a
standard similar to iso9000, only must less rigid and feature rich.
Why not setup a small organisation that looks at the documentation
available to volunteers or communities and awards the open source
project a compliance standard. What does it mean for the project?
Well it means that people who want to contribute should be able to
expect the same level of documentation on procedures that they get
from another approved project.

some companies and iso9000, this is something which should be done
