Red Hat System Engineer Position – 2 Positions – Position Number

Red Hat Software is seeking qualified applicants for openings in
our development department as system engineers. If you are
self-motivated, resourceful, talented and excited about working in
an environment filled with computer hackers, then we want to talk
to you!

Job Description and Qualifications

Develop and enhance the Linux operating system, as well as,
other Red Hat products.

Requirements:

-Bachelor’s degree
-Experience with C-programming and shell scripting

Not required, but bonus points given for the following:

-One year of system administration experience
-Contributed to the Linux community
-RPM experience

The positions are in RTP, North Carolina only and will be
available in January 1999. Interviews for these positions will take
place in December, 1998. If you’re not familiar with North
Carolina, the area is close to the center of the state. RTP is at
the center of Durham (home of Duke University), Chapel Hill (home
of UNC-CH) and Raleigh (the capital of NC and home of NCSU).
