The XBMC Foundation has released their first Beta version of the Kodi 15.0 media player software, a.k.a. “Isengard”.
Kodi (formerly XBMC) is a free and open-source media player software developed by the XBMC Foundation, a non-profit technology consortium.
It is available for multiple operating systems like Linux and Android (running on several hardware platforms), with a software 10-foot user interface for use with televisions and remote controls.
This release is mainly aimed at cleaning up the code-base, but it also features some new/improved stuff.
