According to Linus Torvalds, Linux kernel 4.1 RC4 is a little bit bigger that previous Release Candidate versions. It includes mostly networking improvements and updated drivers. However, Linux kernel 4.1 Release Candidate 4 brings various changes to several architectures, including ARM, ARM64, and MIPS, as well as improvements to the Btrfs and NFS filesystems.
